Mama's Pecan Pie
Nothing quite like Mama's pecan pie.
Ingredients:
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup dark Karo syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup chopped pecans
1 unbaked pie shell
Mix eggs, syrup, salt, sugar, vanilla, and butter.
Stir in pecans.
Pour in pie shell.
Bake 15 minutes at 400.
Reduce heat to 350 and bake 30-35 minutes more.
